Egyptian Baboons at Cliveden

OHOS sculptor Petre Nikoloski has used his expert skills assist with conservation of a historic pair of granite baboons at Cliveden.  Thought to be 2000 to 2500 years old, the baboons were originally part of an Egyptian temple entrance.  Viscount Astor acquired them in the 19th century and they have been in private ownership until their recent donation to the National Trust.  These unusual sculptures are now in the Long Garden at Cliveden.  For visiting details see the NT website at
